We’re excited to be bringing a brand-new Christmas Elf to life in the workshop!

Since moving into the old cotton mill studio, our space has been missing something special – display costumes. It’s felt a little too quiet… and we think it’s time to change that! We want to create a welcoming, inspiring space where visitors can see, touch, and experience our costumes up close.

And what better way to start than with a festive Christmas Elf? Yes… we know it might feel a little early to mention the C-word, but in the costume industry, Christmas magic starts months in advance! We’re already working behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready for photoshoots and press launches by at least September.

Our search led us to a great little mannequin, something with a bit more personality and pose. Not your typical stiff, straight-standing shop figure, but one with a bit more character and charm. We’re planning to display our Elf on a custom base designed to look like a beautifully wrapped Christmas present. 🎁

Of course, it needs a little TLC first. Step one: a proper clean and refresh, a bath, careful sanding, and then a fresh coat of paint to bring the mannequin back to life.
