Under tunic made from brown cloth. The under tunic has a small mandarin style collar. It fastens at the side with a placket down the shoulder. The under tunic has long sleeves with a fastening cuff.
Tunic, tabard and obi made from slub silk. The tunic is ankle length with the nap of the fabric running vertically down the tunic front. The tunic wraps across at the front and is edged with the raw silk nap running horizontally across the edging. The tabard is one long piece of cloth that runs around the back of the neck and hangs at the front to knee length. The tabard raw silk nap runs vertically down the length of the tabard. The obi raw silk nap runs the length of the obi. The obi fastens at the back left over right. The tunic has a hand finished hem. There are long full sleeves and the tunic can be heavily weathered.
The belt is made from veg tan leather that has been dyed to colour, finished and weathered. It has a large brass buckle at the centre front and a saber hook to the left of the buckle. The belt is adjustable with several holes for length adjustment and a prong buckle.

Robe made from brown wool fabric. The front edges and hems are left raw. The large pointy hood and the back of the robe have a centre back seam. The sleeves are separate from the body cloth, armholes can be seen on the robe.
